The Future of Enhanced Experience

BubblyNet

Published:

Light + Building, the world's leading trade fair for lighting, hosts the latest technological innovations from around the globe, focusing on intelligent and networked solutions.

According to Bluetooth® SIG, one of the highlights from the show was the launch of BubblyNet.

The BubblyNet platform adopts Bluetooth® Mesh technology as there are 10 billion Bluetooth® enabled devices installed worldwide, it doesn't require a router or network to operate, its high-security, its large data bandwidth, and its extreme cost competitiveness.

The BubblyNet Bluetooth® Mesh drivers released can be used on standard Line Voltage architectures and on DLVP (Distributed Low-Voltage Power System), with dimming resolution higher than the current standards and a flicker-free high-frequency PWM.

A Bluetooth® Mesh plug-in module for other lighting manufacturers' use is expected to be available at the end of the 2nd Quarter of 2018, while the firmware version that will activate the beacon functionalities will be released by the end of the 3rd Quarter of 2018.
