Technical Description

The D-C1K-30-42-17-DL00 drivers are the ideal solution for standalone projects as well as the backbone of complex Mesh Networks. The driver is programmable from 100mA up to 1000mA.

The installation of the D-C1K-30-42-17-DL00 is very simple. The two wires for universal AC input are connected to the driver. As soon as the driver is powered on it will start broadcasting the non-provisioned advertising messages that will tell the provisioning app that a new device is ready to join. The provisioning app will connect to the new driver, configure security keys, addresses and other data so the new driver can join the Mesh Network. After the new driver joins the Mesh Network it is ready to be configured (publishing / subscribing data.)

For best results, drivers need to be installed within 30 feet of the closest device within the Bluetooth® Mesh network. Signal strength significantly decreases in presence of metal barriers such as when devices are enclosed in metal boxes.
